As a writer, this line from 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho has been the most defining, life-changing, and ever-inspiring.

And, when you want something...

I so much wanted to dive straight into the deep sea of Micro-Dramas.

That's when the phone rang-

IMPORTED BAHU

Happened to me.

Before this opportunity buzzed on my phone, I had gotten some very underwhelming offers to write Micro-Dramas...

But then...

All the universe conspires...

My creative director from a previous work suggested my son's and my name to the producer.

My son received the call first and graciously passed on the opportunity to me.

In helping you to achieve it...

Hamisha Daryani Ahuja, Creator and Producer, offered me something that truly excited me as a writer - an Indo-Nigerian Micro-Drama.

She was very clear right from the outset with her vision of what she wanted out of this micro-drama project. The overwhelming comments, love, and nostalgia that the IMPORTED BAHU trailer garnered over various social media platforms reaffirmed her vision.

As a creator and producer, she had a vision - as clear as crystal- but she let me polish it and shine it as a writer.

She gave me the freedom to write, at the same time, genuinely made suggestions that only improved the script.

There was no unnecessary back and forth - only clear communication.

Just the kind of work environment and ethics I like to work in as a writer.
